Director of Adult Education

The Director of Education oversees a program serving approximately 2,000 adult learners annually and includes classes in English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency preparation, family literacy, and job readiness classes.  The Director supervises three department coordinators who manage 23 teachers. The Education Director coordinates and administers all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing,staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.  More Information.

Join members of Rhode Island’s refugee community in celebrating World Refugee Day! The day is meant to recognize and honor not only the unrelenting perseverance of New England's refugee communities but the many incredible contributions they make to our society.

This family-friendly event--free and open to the public--will be filled with cultural performances, children’s activities, and educational exhibits. It’s a great way to show Rhode Island you value our long history of welcoming newcomers and creating a vibrant community!
